Event Description:

The 2017 Earth Day Indiana Festival is on Saturday, April 22, 2017, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Historic Military Park at White River State Park. Come to the festival for local food vendors, kid's activities, over 125 exhibitors, live music, 5K run/walk, and beer garden. IUPUI has parking available for $6 in the surface lots closest to the park.

Back in 2017 is the Recycle Run 5K! Run or walk a 5K route that is mostly along the White River! The 5K begins (at noon) and finishes at Historic Military Park at White River State Park but the majority of the course will take you upstream and then downstream along the White River.


The Earth Day Indiana Festival features a full day of musical performances, from rock & roll to bluegrass to everything in between, on the Music Stage.

The Children’s Tent includes performances and hands-on activities, all free of charge!  

Performers for 2016 were Bill Bailey, Ruditoonz, Animalia, Mr. Daniel, and the The People’s Voice.


The 2017 festival will again be at a Historic Military Park at White River State Park, located at 601 W. New York Street, in downtown Indianapolis.

Parking is available for a $6 fee on the IUPUI campus in surface parking lots 73, 83, and 85. These lots are immediately north of Historic Military Park between New York and North Streets. These are the same lots to be utilized if you are an exhibitor or sponsor and have a yellow parking pass provided by/through Earth Day Indiana.
